We are also the leading Centre in the Hyderabad region performing advanced laparoscopic and single-port laparoscopy colorectal surgery for colorectal malignancies and benign bowel disorders. In addition, we are developing a cutting edge robotic surgery, treatment of advanced recurrent cancers requiring pelvic exenterations, as well as new perianal fistula and haemorrhoidal procedures which improve outcomes and recovery. We have recently established the pelvic disorder service and the genetic counselling service to provide patient centric streamlined management.

Day Surgery

Our department performs a range of minor operations in our Ambulatory Surgery Centre. These surgeries are mainly for minor anal and peri-anal conditions for which the patient can be discharged on the same day as the surgery. This allows our patients to return to the comfort of their own homes and resume their daily activities with as little inconvenience as possible.

The most common surgery done in our day surgery is surgery for piles, also known as hemorrhoidectomy. Surgery is performed for symptomatic hemorrhoids (a.k.a piles) which are not relieved by other non-surgical methods.

We offer the following methods of hemorrhoidectomy:

  • Conventional hemorrhoidectomy

  • Stapled hemorrhoidectomy

  • Transanal hemorrhoidal dearterialisation
